My first time at Canes. Absolutely great service. Marius greeted us as we walked in. He helped us promptly. Brought our food to our table and offered to get us condiments. Food was delicious but service was better! Definitely an asset to the team. Above and beyond customer service is hard to find now days.

Raising Canes does only one thing and that's chicken, it's not exactly a super special seasoning they use on their batter it's basically "I feel like getting chicken tenders" kind of place. Raising Canes is more well known for their "Cane Sauce" which is what really makes their chicken shine. Without it, the chicken and fries by themselves are really plain. If you get the Caniac Combo (4 piece chicken meal) I highly recommend buying an extra sauce, 1 sauce is not enough!

I got the 4 piece tenders and shared it with my 10 year old daughter. It was plenty of food for the both of us! It was delicious! Customer service was great which is also very important to me.

I’m visiting from Pflugerville Texas, and i’m shocked that this Canes is still opened. Immediately when I picked up the strip I knew this meal was WRONG. What i regret most was not taking a picture….Chicken was barely breaded and soggy. Strip itself felt like a rubber belt. Texas toast was more like Modesto Toast and very doughy and barely toasted. Fries were cold and STALE! Do not go to this location. Someone mentioned the Manteca location was much better.

Nice servers, but the food is ALWAYS SOGGY!!! And it's always super crowded and cramped inside. They need to ditch some of the tall middle tables so people can stand and order without bumping shoulders. Turn the fryer up and increase cook times so I can take a bite of chicken without the soggy breading sliding off in my fingers.

So I am a handicapped person. I stopped in at Cane's in Modesto to get something to eat this afternoon. I order a four-piece box meal chicken fingers add extra piece of toast and instead of the coleslaw I asked for more the meal cost me $16. Everything was cold and the fries were even oily. I went in there when they first opened and everything was nice and fresh but I thought they were at that time still a little expensive. But to pay $16 for cold food it's just ridiculous. When I ordered I informed them that I was handicapped and needed help with my food. And yet they still didn't bring me my food. I believe the manager brought me my food. Don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon. I saw that there is a Church's Chicken Texas Chicken just open up in Modesto. I think I will go give that a try.

ALL 3 OF US GOT FOOD POISONED!!!!

This place went downhill fast. We believed it is now run and owned by Eastern Indians. Both the food and atmosphere went down. Not as busy as before, especially on a Saturday night. It used to be my family's favorite Raising Canes. We would drive 1.5 hrs from San Jose. It will probably be our last time.

Yesterday we had the worst experience. We all had gas soon after eating, followed by diarrhea.
The chicken pieces weren't as delicious as before. A lot less batter. The secret dipping sauce seemed old. Had a different taste.

For a Saturday night around 10 PM, this place should have been crowded, but it wasn't. The atmosphere seemed to have changed. The employees were not happy and weren't themselves. The cashier who took my order kept on dropping things my receipt, sauce, and plates. Seems like something was off about her.

But then we noticed a bearded Eastern Indian guy with tattoos on his arms going around asking each table if he could take anything away for them. That's when we realized the answer to our questions. This place is under new management or ownership and is now owned or run by Indians. That explains why the employees are on edge and the food quality went downhill. When we all got gas and diarrhea, we concluded that since it is own by Indians, they must of made the employees used old secret sauce, dirty batter, chicken or cut out some hygiene steps to save money.

When Indians make my Subway sandwiches, I get food poison, but when Mexicans or non Indians make them, I never get stomach aches. I think they don't throw away the food that are old and mix them in with the new ones.
Our bad experience accompanied with gas and diarrhea confirmed that there are some hygiene problems at this Raisin Canes in Modesto.

Please share more experiences like ours so the people in Modesto know what happened to this Rasinig Canes. So sad when a particular race takes over a business, it goes downhill?

I'm not a huge fan of Fast Food restos, but let me tell you.....
If you're looking for some good quality fast food chicken, you must try Raising Canes!
I was blown away by how crispy and delicious their famous chicken sandwich was. The chicken fingers were perfectly seasoned as well.
We did the drive thru, so I couldn't tell you how the inside seating was, but give them a try if you're craving some tasty chicken.
Don't forget to try the zesty Cane's Sauce.
