This place is a neighborhood gem. The food is authentic and the staff is amazing. The best borek I’ve ever had. We tried the ground beef, potato, and spinach/feta! The turkish tea and baklava are must haves! We are coming back for the lunch menu which includes doner.

This was such a surprise to find when we checked into our rental. Some of the best baklava I’ve ever had, and hands down the best borek I’ve ever had. The Turkish tea was also delish and the sugar cubes really made it! We will definitely be back!

Don’t miss this great find! We were driving past and saw the sign for Turkish coffee. He couldn’t pass that up! And as long as we’re here…
The Beef Borek is a wonderfully savory treat with just the right mix is spices. The Nutella Acma was a pleasant bread-y follow to that, and the Baklava is perfect with the coffee. We tried all three - classic pistachio, walnut, and chocolate. The classic is still our favorite, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
The staff is also fantastic. Friendly, smiling, and seem very happy to be here, even on a holiday.

I love most things Turkey. This is a great spot and brought back memories of my visit to Istanbul and Izmir years ago. Good selection of fresh food items, taking some to go!! Amazing flavors. This place will do great. Try it

Was delighted with my visit to Istanbul Cafe&Bakery! My first time at this location (one by DU and the other on Leetsdale?) The highlight of my experience was the service provided by a fellow named Yass. Who, from the moment I walked in, greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm. His knowledge for the bakery's authentic selection( almost every thing is from Turkië) was very large. He explained the various baklavas and offered samples of some of his favorites, making my decision much easier. His energy was what truly enhanced my visit. It's rare to encounter such exceptional customer service (especially after covid) , Highly recommend the Turkish Coffee and the Simit Bagel! A great experience, especially if you get the chance to be served by Yass!

We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, and got to sample several items because we were new customers- everything was delicious and fresh. The owners/staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend the baklava, boreks, and coffee. We will be coming back again soon!

Amazing spot. I live in the neighborhood and noticed it opened a couple months ago but finally got the chance to stop in today. Right off the bat, the service is incredible. The owners are exceptional and sampled a couple items to me. I didnt get her name but she was so friendly and inviting. Her kindness literally turned my entire mood around, i think ill start every weekend or work from home day here!! I got the turkish coffee and ground beef borek and it was delicious! I am 100% making this my go to coffee shop and will make it my mission to try everything on the menu!!

I had breakfast two times at the Zuni location. The food was excellent. I have been told that the pastry comes frozen from Turkiye and you can tell. Simit and borek tasted just like in Turkiye. The portions and combination in the breakfast plate were just right for me. The service was excellent the staff very friendly. I highly recommend.
