We ordered Lahmacun and their Mixed Grill. Lahmacun was tasty, a great appetizer but the mixed grill lacked flavor although the presentation was great. There’s a lot of competition in the area within a 5 mile radius when it comes to middle eastern, Mediterranean food and I’ve had better kebabs. They need to work on improving the taste it’s just very basic garlic salt and pepper.
Service was ok but I would probably order something authentically Turkish next time like their Adana Kabab. This restaurant has great potential because there are only a handful of Turkish restaurants in Houston, looks like it’s going to be a hit or a miss depending on what you order.

I was in town for a day and stumbled upon Nazif's. As a Turkish native, I can confidently say that their brick oven dishes are spot-on! The mixed pide and lahmacun were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor—definitely authentic.

The service was excellent, and the waiter’s recommendations made the experience even better.

If you enjoy fresh, flavorful food, the brick oven options here are a must-try!

Good atmosphere, owner was very nice person. He personally took our order and suggested a dish it is not in the menu. It was good especially I like eggplant with cheese.. Didn't like kunafa. But white piece of ice cream was very good. So thick and creamy that you can eat with with fork. Service needs to better. Only things I wish they could have the food according to their add in the Facebook.

I just came to this place almost closing time from Chicago. i can clearly say the menu is unbelievable.. If you are a real foodie, you should eat with your eyes first rather than with your mouth.. If I visit Houston again, for sure i will stop by again.

Positive; Turkish Restaurant which is a amazing Limited in Houston.

1. Took too long for the order to come, 22 minutes while there were only 5 other people.

2. Serve staff did not bother to check if we need water or drinks needed to be refilled

3. Average taste for the food nothing exciting about this place.

4. Above average price in comparison to the taste.

5. I will suggest to try for a change but if you are looking for a Wow factor this is not the place to feel authentic for the Turkish food in term of taste!

6. On last big negative they add the tip 15% by force regardless you like the service or food which is unacceptable. Let customer decide if they feel how much tip should be given based on the overall experience !

Nazifs was an amazing Halal Turkish spot that I somehow never heard of. I recently traveled to Turkey and the food at this restaurant was much better than some of the places in the actual country. I ordered the Wrapmachun which I assume isn’t a traditional dish but it’s basically a Lamachun (ground beef on flatbread) that is wrapped around a kebab, I chose the Adana which was spicier. I also got the Lamachun spicy because I love spicy. We also got a couple of mixed meat platters that included some vegetables and rice. The lamb chops from the platter had a slightly too big fat cap but it was perfect and gave the full original lamb flavor to the best quality. The wrapmachun I ate was just perfect, it wasn’t dry or tough but it was juicy, tender and had the perfect level of spiciness and it was absolutely delicious and paired well with the garlic sauce. All their lamb dishes are very well done providing an original lamb flavor with little to no spice as intended. All the meat was very tender, soft, and juicy. The presentation of the dishes were also beautifully executed. Pleasing to the eye and the tongue. The service and staff was also very nice and the waiters were very friendly and made sure we were accommodated to the best of their ability. The ambience of this restaurant is also very nice, they had a plant wall on the front glass wall and TVs displaying Turkish landscapes along with cozy light fixtures and slightly dimmed lights. The single downside is the wait time for the food to arrive. Personally I feel like the quality of food should match the time I have to wait and I got just that here. I did have to wait for about 15-20 minutes for the food but it was very well worth it. Other than, perfect 5 star place.
